Lehi High School Swimming capped off an impressive season with a top 5 and 6 finish in Womens and Mens Swimming, respectively. The women, led by Grace Sturgill, Kaylee Richards, Rachel Johansen and Hannah Holdsworth were able to outscore 17 schools at the UHSAA 4A State Championships. The men included Nic Tronson, Jason Pittard, Miles Dayley, Maclain Smith and Tyler Wilde. They finished 6th out of 23 schools.
Lehi High School has had a strong tradition of fielding a large team. Due to the split with Skyridge last year, Lehi was left with low numbers. Although the team had 20 total swimmers (8 girls, 12 boys) they were competitive in every single meet this season. They compiled a 4-3 Dual Meet record, and consistently placed in the top 5 in their invitationals. Both of which are remarkable considering they were competing against teams with up to 4 times as many swimmers.
The culminating meet, the Region 10 Championships, saw the women finished in an impressive 3rd place and the men bringing home the title. Two weeks later, both Men and Women represented the city of Lehi well at the 4A State Championships. Some of the highlights include:
5th place finish- Womens 200 Medley Relay **
